FAMILY ORIENTATION

  • You will need your student's UT EID in order to register.
  • If possible, we strongly recommend that you attend Family Orientation during the same session that your student attends New Student Orientation. Please confirm your students' orientation session dates prior to registering for Family Orientation.
  • Family Orientation is one day long and coincides with Day 1 of New Student Orientation. Once Family Orientation ends, students will remain on campus for the rest of their program.
  • Family Orientation registrations are non-refundable.

College and School Session

Family Orientation attendees meet as a group with the college/school in which their students are currently admitted for a general overview. You are only able to attend the college/school presentation for which your student has been admitted; even if your child hopes to change their major to one in a different college/school, you are unable to attend the presentation for that desired college/school.

Not all of the colleges and/or schools are represented at each Family Orientation session. Please make sure you register for a session in which your student's college/school is represented.
