2025 FRESHMAN FAMILY ORIENTATION

  • You will need your student's UT EID in order to register.
  • We recommend that your student register for Longhorn Orientation BEFORE you register for Family Orientation.
  • Do not register your student to attend Family Orientation.
  • Family Orientation registrations are non-refundable.
  • If you have already created a registration and need to change sessions or add registrants, please do not complete another registration here; instead, please reply to your confirmation email or call Texas Parents at 512-471-2353.
  • Session 3, June 9 has closed for online registration; however, you may do Same Day Registration onsite if you need to register or if you need to add registrants to your existing existing online registration. 
  • Session 4, June 16 has closed for online registration; however, you may do Same Day Registration onsite if you need to register or if you need to add registrants to your existing existing online registration. 


College and School Session

Family Orientation attendees meet as a group with the college/school in which their students are currently admitted for a general overview. You will not be able to attend a desired major's college/school presentation. 

Not all of the colleges and/or schools are represented at each Family Orientation session. Please make sure you register for a session in which your student's college or school is represented.

Please see below if your student has been accepted into the fall UTNY or Take the World by the Horns programs.

Fall UTNY: In addition to your student's college/school presentation, there will be an additional UTNY information session offered June 16 and June 23.

Fall Take the World by the Horns: In addition to your student's college/school presentation, there will be an additional information session offered July 7 and July 14.
